Robert W. Naismith, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer 
Dr. Naismith serves as chairman and CEO of eMedsecurities and has over twenty years of experience in the healthcare industry in a variety of capacities. In 1999, he merged Genome Securities, which he founded in 1998, into eMedsecurities, which is the first global electronic affinity investment bank. He was Managing Director of Healthcare and Chairman of the Healthcare and Scientific Advisory Board at BlueStone Capital Partners, L.P. from October 1996 to February 1998. He founded Biofor, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, and served as its President, Chief Executive Officer and Director. He was also Vice President of Scherer Healthcare, a diversified healthcare company, a co-founder and Executive Vice President of Pharmakon Research International, Inc., a major international preclinical contract research organization, and served as Chairman and Director of the Microcap Fund, a publicly traded bridge fund. Dr. Naismith serves as a Trustee of the William Harvey Medical Research Foundation in London. He also holds an adjunct associate professorship in the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University and adjunct professorships at Pennsylvania State University and the University of Scranton, where he serves as a Senior Fellow at The Institute for Molecular Biology and Medicine. Dr. Naismith serves on several Boards of Directors, including Penn Security Bank & Trust Company and St. Charles Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Naismith holds a Ph.D. in genetics from the Pennsylvania State University.

Gary L. Borthwick, MBA, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Borthwick has over 20 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, MIS and Operations Management. From 1985 to 1990 he served as Operations Manager/Controller and from 1991 to 1997 as Vice President of Finance/Operations and Chief Financial Officer of Derma Sciences, Inc., which had an Initial Public Offering in 1994. He also served on the Board of Directors of the company from 1988 through 1997. In addition, he served from 1988 to 1989 as Secretary/Treasurer of Wound Management Services, Dunmore, Pennsylvania. Mr. Borthwick earned an Associate’s Degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Keystone College in 1979 and his MBA from Columbia Southern University in 1998.

Nadia N. Dailey, Vice President, Business Development 

Ms. Dailey is a co-founder of eMedsecurities, formerly Genome Securities. She was previously Vice President of Operations for William Naismith Associates where she maintained all financial records, as well as regulatory and compliance issues relative to the NASD. Previously she was a Marketing Representative at Penn Security Bank & Trust Company where she assisted in the development of electronic banking and integrated banking services on college and university campuses. She also worked as a market research analyst at NovaCare, Inc., where she was responsible for developing and analyzing extensive databases in the healthcare industry. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Drexel University, and has studied at The American International University in both Florence and London, and completed The Wharton School Executive Program on Mergers and Acquisitions at the University of Pennsylvania.
